2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Operate, maintain, and improve the Platform and its features.
- Authenticate your identity and manage your account.
- Display your public profile, ideas, comments, and project activity to other users.
- Send you transactional emails such as account confirmations and password resets.

- Service Providers: We use third-party services to operate the Platform, including Supabase (database and authentication), Vercel (hosting and infrastructure), Resend (transactional email), and Anthropic (AI-powered features). These providers access data only as necessary to perform services on our behalf and are bound by confidentiality obligations.
- Legal Requirements: We may disclose your information when required by law, court order, or governmental authority, or to protect the rights and safety of Knewidea, our users, or others.
- Business Transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you before your information becomes subject to a different privacy policy.
4. Cookies and Session Data
Knewidea uses cookies and similar technologies to manage authentication sessions and improve your experience. Specifically, we use session cookies to keep you logged in across page visits. We do not use tracking cookies for advertising purposes. You can configure your browser to refuse cookies, but doing so may prevent you from using certain features of the Platform.
5. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal information:

We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. These include encrypted data transmission (HTTPS), hashed password storage, access controls, and the use of reputable infrastructure providers. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Children's Privacy
Knewidea is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 13, we will promptly delete that information and terminate the associated account. 9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. If changes are material, we will notify you via email or a prominent notice on the Platform. Your continued use of the Platform after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
